CREATING BUSINESS CONTINUITY WITH PROCESS AUTOMATION
The Covid-19 outbreak has had a monumental effect on businesses around the world. Many of these challenges are continuing to be felt and will do so for some time. Fortunately for us here at Agile, little has changed. This is thanks to the processes we have in place allowing us to work 100% remotely. Working across four different countries, clear communication and remote working has already been crucial to our operational success and efficiency. Having these processes well tested before the Covid-19 outbreak meant the team across Europe was prepared and equipped to switch into full remote work mode when necessary. Thanks to this, we are still operating at full capacity and continue to liaise with clients and prospects about how we can solve their business problems through automation.
COMMUNICATION IS THE KEY
Being a company that operates globally, it is essential to our continued success that we continue to provide our services to our clients. The communication methods may have been tweaked slightly with the absence of face to face meetings, but the principle is the same. Good communication is key to a healthy working relationship with clients. Having previously adopted processes where virtual meetings are the norm, the overnight transition after lockdown has ensured our clients are not left in the dark. This smooth transition has solidified our client’s confidence in our ability to work and offer our services during unprecedented and challenging periods.
SOLUTIONS DON'T STOP
Many businesses have struggled to adapt to the digital working, either because they were not expecting such a huge change or simply because their business always requires staff in now lock downed locations. Businesses that require physical materials have suffered hugely due to the major disruption to supply chains, while some factories have had to be shut as per the lockdown rules. Fortunately for us here at ABP, our solutions can all be implemented and tracked remotely. Whether it is Business Process Management (BPM), Robotic Process Automation (RPA) or AI and Machine Learning, these can all be successfully rolled out. Many businesses that have been sceptical of automation and its implementation are now understanding the significant benefits even a simple tool can add.
HOLDING BUSINESS TOGETHER WITH AUTOMATION
Despite the major disruption, many businesses are still able to operate as normal thanks to the automation solutions that have been implemented. Solutions such as document capture and management lift manual, repetitive tasks from staff. These solutions initially are used to remove medial tasks to allow businesses to streamline their processes. However, these solutions further their value when more reliance is placed on them in times such as the ones we are facing at the moment. These solutions are also compatible across a number of industries with many currently being used in the healthcare sector to reduce staff workload during these highly stressful times. The majority require little to no human interference meaning business owners can be confident that all areas that are automated will continue to work efficiently. As a business owner, being able to utilise automation in times of need furthers the whole businesses value especially to shareholders.
